George Soros got a ‘bomb’ in his mailbox
The billionaire George Soros got an explosive in his mailbox. The explosive was found Monday at his home in New York, The New York Times reports. The bomb has been detonated as a precaution.
According to The New York Times, an employee of Soros found a package in the mailbox of the house in Westchester County.
When the employee opened the package, he saw something that looked like a bomb. Then he brought the package to a forested area in the neighborhood and called the police.
The report about the suspicious package arrived at the police around 3.45 pm. Soros was not at home at that time. The case is being investigated by the FBI.
The 88-year-old Soros, who is originally from Hungary and survived the Holocaust, made a fortune with an investment fund.
