It is you will finally rid of Alco1499 nick

Users of the online services of PlayStation can change their usernames from Thursday. Sony announced this on Wednesday.

Changing an online username on PlayStation Network is free for the first time. Subsequent name changes require 10 euros at a time, or 5 euros if the customer has a PlayStation Plus subscription. Changing back to an old username is always free.

Players can show the old username next to the new name for thirty days, so their friends can see who made the name change.

The new online name is displayed in “the majority of all PlayStation 4 games”. The old username is still shown in some old games.

The company announced the name change function in October 2018. Then the option was tested among a limited number of customers.
