5G Samsung Galaxy S10 smartphone enters the European market

Samsung is launching a smartphone in Europe next month that is suitable for 5G, the successor of the current mobile internet.

It is a version of its flagship, the Galaxy S10. It first comes to Germany, France, Great Britain, Italy, Spain and Switzerland. It is not yet known when the device will be available in the Netherlands.

The Galaxy S10 5G was until now only available in South Korea. That country has a 5G network that has coverage everywhere. Europe is not that far yet.

5G is the successor to 4G, the fastest form of mobile internet there is now. It should not only be faster, but also be able to handle more connections at the same time. For example, it must pave the way for self-driving cars and smart devices. In the Netherlands, KPN and VodafoneZiggo are working on 5G.
