Chrome made the Incognito mode undetectable by third parties

In a new version of Google’s browser, it becomes easier to bypass payment walls with Chrome’s incognito mode. Chrome 76 is currently in the beta phase and will be available soon.

Currently, many media can see when a visitor visits the site in incognito mode and tries to bypass the payment wall. Sites like The New York Times refuse the visitor in that case.

With the upcoming update, Google will make it harder for sites to recognize that the visitor is in incognito mode. Because of this, they can no longer refuse the non-paying visitor and people can read unlimited paid articles.
