Pokémon Go Fest in Chicago temporarily interrupted due to severe weather conditions
A Pokémon Go event that takes place this weekend in Chicago, USA, has been shut down on Saturday due to a storm.
On Twitter, developer Niantic called on thousands of visitors to leave the festival grounds. According to the organization it was not safe to keep playing due to the upcoming storm.
The call was answered well and after a few hours players were able to continue with the mobile game. According to the organization, no accidents happened.
The Pokémon Go Fest is organized annually by Niantic. During the event, players can catch special Pokémon and complete assignments together.
