Houthi rebels dealt a major blow to government army
In an attack on a military training camp near the Yemeni city of Marib, at least 60 people were killed and dozens injured on Saturday, according to the Saudi state television.
Houthi rebels affiliated with Iran attacked the training camp with, among other things, rockets and drones. The government army also carried out attacks on rebel locations on Saturday, claiming a total of 22 deaths.
Since 2015, Yemen has been embroiled in a civil war between the government and Houthi rebels. Saudi Arabia, together with the Yemeni government, is leading an international coalition against the Houthis. Iran has always denied supplying weapons to the rebels.
Because of the unrest in the country, prices continue to rise and many people lose their income. According to the latest figures from the Red Cross, 3.2 million women and children suffer from acute malnutrition.
