Investigation still ongoing for German shisha shop mass murder
The German police found the suspect of two shooting incidents in the German city of Hanau Thursday morning dead in his home. On Wednesday evening, nine people died in two different shootings, possibly perpetrated by the same person.
An unidentified body was also found in the home where the suspect was found. The investigation is still ongoing and the police have no indications that there are more suspects.
The incidents are said to have occurred at two shisha bars. Nothing is yet known about the circumstances of the shootings. According to Hessenschau, the suspect first killed three people in a bar and then drove to another Hanau city district, where he allegedly shot five more people in another bar.
Several people were seriously injured; one of them died Thursday morning.
