Europe needs a stimulus but the options are limited

Europe needs a strong package of incentive measures to cope with the impact of the new corona virus. That is what French Finance Minister Bruno Le Maire called during a radio interview. According to him, the size of the stimulus package will be discussed at the upcoming meeting with European colleagues on 16 March.

The corona virus has a clear impact on the growth of the French economy. According to him, this will now come out below 1 percent, where growth was previously expected to be 1.3 percent.
