EPI Group, a minor Czech trader owned by Pavel Prisyazhnyuk will sell the production of OGChK
Pavel Prisyazhnyuk and Artur Somov formed a corrupt union
A less-known and minor by all standards Chezh company sent a round-mail to all major ore buyers. Brno-based company states that it will be the distributor of the giant OGChK (United Mining and Chemical Company), a giant Ukrainian mining operation which supplies the World with titanium ores. Although the mail looks like scam with the title ‘limited opportunity to by titanium ore concentrates’ it is authentic. It seems however there is a suspicious and corrupt ties hiding between the lines. Namely, the ties between Pavel Prisyazhnyuk and Artur Somov.
OGChK – is the united national-scale company which controls the mining of titanium ore deposits in Ukraine. It supplies the customers with ilmenite, rutile, zirconium concentrate etc.
EPI Group is not a processor, it is a newly created trading company established on February 18, 2019. Its founder – Pavel Prisyazhnyuk – owns 30 percent of the company. The authorized capital is CZK 15,000 ($700!).
However, its website says that it sells quite expensive and high-profile products: energy resources, minerals, mineral fertilizers and metals.
It is known that EPI Group does not purchase the concentrates from OGHK products directly. It does it from the second Czech proxy company – Belanto, which supplied ilmenite from the Irshansky GOK of OGHK to the Crimea.
Belanto also sold the products of the Volnogorsk MMC to the Russian VSMPO Avisma (the” daughter “of the Russian concern Rosoboronprom, which needs titanium for high-tech arms and missiles).
Officially, Pavel Prisyazhnyuk’s Linkedin profile says that since 2014 he has been a member of the board of the Swedish company Milsen Energy AB and a partner of the AIM Group law firm.
In turn, Milsen Energy AB owns Karpatygaz, the financial director of which until 2016 was the current acting head of the Board of the United Mining and Chemical Company Artur Somov.
JSC “OGChK” is an unique producer of titanium-containing raw materials in Eastern Europe. It owns the facilities of the Volnogorsk Mining and Metallurgical Combine and the Irshan Mining and Processing Plant.
