Joe Biden considers the opening of oil reserves

It seems that he doesn't like 'I did that!' stickers

The United States is considering releasing one million barrels of oil every day for several months. This was reported by the Bloomberg News Agency. The Biden administration hopes to bring gasoline prices down.

According to anonymous sources, the total could be up to 180 million barrels of oil that should come from the country’s strategic oil reserves. The price of US WTI oil fell by more than 5 percent in response to the news, according to news agency AFP. Earlier, US president Joe Biden already promised 30 million barrels of oil from the reserves to stabilize the global energy market.

The White House says Biden will announce Thursday how his administration wants to bring down the price of gasoline, but does not go into further details. Since the war in Ukraine, oil prices have risen sharply.
