WhatsApp to get useless Vacation mode

As the World becomes more and more submersed in the social media and instant messaging it became obvious that constant attention to the hail of messages is ruining the life. No serious solution are on the table except of ceasing the habit to dive into the smartphone. WhatsApp is working on “vacation mode’ that will attempt to limit the messenger presence at holidays and vacations.

WhatsApp may get a vacation mode for archived calls that will keep a conversation invisible, even if a new message arrives. This is useful, for example, for people who are in an app group with colleagues.

Now is the only way to spend a quiet holiday is to leave the chat group. This will soon be a thing of the past with the new function.

The holiday mode is in a beta version of the app being tested. WABetaInfo, a site that often has firsts about new features in the chat app, writes about it.

It is still unclear when holiday mode becomes available to the customers.
