NPO solved the Chromecast issue

The NPO solved the interference problems with Chromecast streams on Thursday, the public broadcaster says in a message on Twitter.

Due to the problems it was not possible to use the NPO Start app to stream videos to a television with a Chromecast. This was caused by an update that Google made available for Chromecasts on Tuesday.

Streaming service NLZiet was also affected by the Chromecast failure, and said it was working on a solution earlier. The problems should be resolved on Thursday afternoon, says the public broadcaster.

Google has been selling the Chromecast for a long time. By connecting this to a television, it is possible to play videos from various smartphone apps.
