Banning Huawei makes no sense and is harming everyone

The Chinese telecom manufacturer Huawei has spoken against the decision of the United States to blacklist the company. In a reaction, the Chinese company says that the decision is not good for anyone.

According to Huawei, American companies with which it does business suffer “considerable economic damage.” That could potentially cost tens of thousands of American jobs. According to Huawei, “current cooperation and mutual trust in the global trade chain” are also damaged. Huawei says it wants to find a solution to the situation through the courts.

The US has been targeting Huawei and industry counterpart ZTE for some time. According to the Americans, those companies that make equipment for mobile networks work together with the Chinese government to make espionage possible.
