Fargon reached a deal with US justice
Wholesale pharmacy supplier Fagron has reached an agreement in principle with the US judicial authorities in a investigation into the price fixing of pharmaceutical products. The company has to pay $ 22.3 million fine. The settlement is expected to be finalized in the second half of 2019.
Fagron had already made a provision of $ 8.4 million for the case. The company now makes an additional provision of $ 13.9 million to get the total amount. This already weighs on the result in the first half of this year.
At a quarter past two the trade in Fagron was suspended prior to the publication of the message. The stock price was then 3.7% lower. In the meantime, this has slightly increased to a loss of approximately 3%.
