Authorities paid a friendly visit to Tesla factory in Fremont

To make sure that everything is OK they said

Police officials visited the Tesla factory in Fremont, California. Authorities wanted to make sure that health regulations are followed at the automaker’s factory.

During the audit, employees were screened and it was checked whether the distance measures were observed. The use of face covering also had to be confirmed.

A lot has been done lately about the factory in Fremont. Tesla, with its previous announcement to fully open the factory, went against the decision of local authorities. Tesla CEO Elon Musk found an ally in President Donald Trump. Tesla would then have agreed to partially restart production in California.

Possible violations of the health protocol or safety measures could be reported to the public prosecutor. But a police spokesman downplayed this possibility, saying it aims to work with companies to comply with the rules.

Tesla is one of the largest employers in the region, with more than 11,000 employees in Fremont. According to the authorities, given the unique nature and size of the vehicle manufacturing and the security measures that have been taken, Tesla can safely step up its activities in the factory step by step.
