Boeing one step closer to 737 Max re-certification
The Boeing 737 MAX aircraft, which have been grounded for months due to safety concerns, are another step closer to obtaining a certificate. The American aviation authority FAA has completed a number of test flights. These are an important milestone for the aircraft being used again.
The Boeing 737 MAX has been banned from flying since March last year after two fatal accidents over a period of five months. 346 people died.
The FAA has yet to evaluate the data from the three test days. There are also other tasks that need to be completed. The Authority emphasized that it should proceed with due care and take the time before agreeing to return the devices to service.
