Samsung is the main beneficiary of US sanctions against Huawei

The South Korean Technology Group Samsung has introduced an American multi-billion-dollar wireless communications order. This is an order for network equipment for, inter alia, high-speed 5G networks by telecom group Verizon. The deal has a value of $ 7 billion and a maturity of up to the end of 2025.

Samsung was already a supplier to Verizon. But by the assignment, it puts his Chinese rival Huawei further away, according to experts. Huawei is on a sanctions list in the United States for possible involvement in ‘espionage’.
