Sales in decline, but the prices still grow: existing home sales report
Existing home sales in the United States declined in October. This was revealed on Friday by figures from brokerage organization NAR.
On a monthly basis, sales fell by 5.9 percent to 4.43 million homes. Economists had previously estimated 4.37 million sales.
On an annual basis, there was even a decrease of 28.4 percent.
The median retail price did increase, by 6.6 percent to $379,100, compared to a year earlier. For 128 months in a row, the price has been rising.
